Everyday Is Like Sunday

English: My search for houses in Santiago de Compostela has already started but I must admit that it is not being easy. It must be in the historical center, preferably with a touch of vintage and with something to tell. Moving to a new home is always a weird and kind of scary step because it is a step that will have a great infuence in our life quality and happiness, it will be the place that will welcome us after a tiring day, after a less good day. I already lived in a few houses that I ended up regreting but this time that cannot happen. I want a kitchen with a window to let all the morning light come in so I can have the best breakfasts while reading the news and while catching up all the new e-mails before going to classes. I want a big bed so I can be able to stretch and wiggle. A closet where my all clothes fit without being crowded. A room with a sofa and a table so I can enjoy my dinners with the strangers that I will end up knowing. I want a small place but with a lot of light! Having a view for the cathedral is perhaps asking too much but that, well, that would be perfect!

Português: A minha procura por casas em Santiago de Compostela já começou mas devo admitir que não anda fácil. Tem de ser no centro histórico, preferencialmente com um toque vintage e com algo para contar. Mudar para uma nova casa é sempre um passo entranho e um tanto assustador visto que é um passo que vai ter grande influência na nossa qualidade de vida e felicidade, vai ser o espaço que nos acolhe após um dia cansativo, após um dia menos bom. Já estive em casas de que me arrependi mas desta vez isso não pode acontecer. Quero uma cozinha com uma janela que deixe entrar muita luz pela manhã para que os pequenos almoços saibam melhor enquanto leio as notícias e os e-mails antes de ir para as aulas. Quero uma cama grande para me poder espreguiçar e rebolar. Um armário em que as minhas roupas caibam todas sem estarem amontoadas. Uma sala, com um sofá e com uma mesa para poder deliciar os jantares com as pessoas estranhas que acabarei por conhecer. Quero um sítio pequeno e acima de tudo luminoso! Vista para a catedral talvez seja pedir muito mas isso, isso seria perfeito!

This Charming Man

English: Today we took the photos with a 75mm Pentax and that was a great sensation! The photos got the touch that I like so much and the streets of Porto were a great company to do such experiment. These days have been calm and relaxing, just like holidays should always be! The fact that is not to hot outside makes me really happy, it makes me enjoy the days a lot more without being home escaping from the burning sun and the stifling air. Of course this doesn't look like July but for me this is the ideal July! 

Português: Hoje tiramos fotos com uma lente Pentax de 75mm e que boa que foi a sensação! As fotos ficaram com aquele toque que tanto gosto e as ruas do Porto foram uma excelente companhia para essa brincadeira. Estes dias têm sido calmos e relaxantes, tal como as férias deveriam sempre ser! O facto de não estar demasiado calor deixa-me feliz, faz como que eu aproveite melhor os dias sem estar sempre metida em casa a fugir do sol forte e do ar abafado. Claro que não parece Julho mas para mim este é o Julho ideal! 

Ah, e para quem ainda não sabe estou a vender umas coisinhas minhas aqui! Vou actualizar com mais coisas durante o fim-de-semana!

8 Days A Week

English: Last friday I went to take a walk at Porto. The weather was marvellous (finally) and just perfect to be a tourist. One thing that I really like to do here on the blog is to show you the places where I go and not only taking pictures of what I was wearing. I find it fascinating to disclose how beautiful Portugal is and how much it has to discover, and the truth is that I really like when other bloggers show the places where they go too.

I even got the chance to go to some of my favorite thrift stores and I bought the most pretty vintages shoes for a really nice price. Sadly, this good life has to stop because I'm ending another year of my course and I'm just full of work and stuff to do!

Português: Na sexta-feira passada fui dar uma voltinha pelo Porto. O tempo estava uma maravilha (finalmente) e realmente perfeito para dar uma de turista. Uma coisa que eu gosto muito de fazer aqui no blog é mostrar os sítios por onde passo e não só tirar fotos daquilo o que estava a vestir. Acho fascinante dar a conhecer o quão bonito o nosso Portugal é e quanto tem para descobrir, assim como gosto quando outras bloggers mostram os diferentes sítios por onde andam. 

Passei ainda por algumas das minhas lojinhas de segunda-mão favoritas e comprei os sapatinhos vintage mais bonitos de sempre por um preço incrível. Infelizmente, esta boa vida tem de acabar porque estou na recta final para acabar mais um ano do meu curso e estou cheia de trabalhos e coisas para fazer!

Design StreetStyle

English: A few weeks ago there was the National Meeting of Design Students here in Portugal. A meeting where the students of this area got together during four days to discuss, understand, share and celebrate the design.

In one of those days, during the break between lectures and while I was in the line to get my Mocha, a girl approached me smiling "Hello, do you know The Satorialist and O Alfaiate Lisboeta?". Well, all the rest is history and here I am sharing my first time featured in a streetstyle project (I'm looking awful though)!

Português: Há umas semanas atrás houve o Encontro Nacional de Estudantes de Design. Um encontro onde os estudantes dessa área se reuniram durante quatro dias para discutir, compreender, partilhar, e celebrar o design.

Num desses dias, durante o intervalo entre palestras e enquanto eu estava na fila para ir buscar o meu Mocha, uma rapariga sorridente abordou-me "Olá, conheces o The Satorialist e o Alfaiate Lisboeta?". Tudo o resto é história e partilho então convosco a minha primeira vez num projecto de streetstyle (onde estou terrível)!

Magenta

English: During easter vacation me and my darling Paulinha went to a more than lovely pastry house in Guimarães. The name is Magenta and the unique ambience, the feminine decoration and the smell of hot cakes in the air made us travel to the pâtisseries of Paris. There I ate one of the most delicious cakes ever and a few days later we had to come back. This time the company was one of the most marvellous teas I ever tried. The unpredictable flavors and the sympathy of the girl who served us was the touch that was missing and the promisse to return there is well established in our intentions! Therefore, if you ever go to Guimarães don't forget to try the delicious home made cakes and the thousands of tea flavors they have available.

Português: Nas férias da Páscoa eu e a minha querida Paulinha fomos a uma pastelaria mais do que amorosa em Guimarães. O seu nome é Magenta e o seu ambiente único, decoração feminina e o cheiro a bolos quentes no ar faz-nos viajar até às pâtisseries de Paris. Lá provei um dos bolinhos mais deliciosos de sempre e dias depois tivemos de voltar. Desta vez a companhia foi um dos mais maravilhosos chás que já tomei. Sabores imprevisíveis e a simpatia da menina que nos atendeu foi o toque que faltava e a promessa de lá voltar ficou bem assente nas nossas intenções! 

Por isso, se forem de Guimarães ou simplesmente tiverem de passagem não se esqueçam de ir experimentar os deliciosos bolos acabadinhos de fazer e os mil sabores de chá que eles têm disponíveis.

I Should Have Known Better

English: This is what I wore to the bloggers meeting at Braga. My new beloved mint skirt is my most recent obssession. It's scalloped, it fits perfectly and it goes pretty well with most of my shirts and blouses.The day was grey and it was rainning more than it should so I tought it was a great idea to add a little touch of color!

And speaking on grey days, today it was one of those! It was an Easter spent at home, eating chocolats and watching movies. I can't believe it took me so long to watch Pretty In Pink. It's such an incredibly inspiring movie!

Português: Isto foi o que vesti no lanche de bloggers em Braga. A minha nova e querida saia menta é minha mais recente obsessão. Tem ondinhas no fundo, tem o tamanho ideal e vai bastante bem com a maiorias das minhas t-shirts e blusas. O dia estava cinzento e estava a chover mais do que devia por isso achei que adicionar um pouquinho de cor seria uma boa ideia!

E já que falo em dias cinzentos hoje foi um desses dias! A Páscoa foi passada em casa, a comer chocolates e a ver filmes. Ainda não posso acreditar que demorei tanto tempo a ver o Pretty In Pink. É um filme incrivelmente inspirador em vários aspectos!

Cupcakes On A Rainy Day

 English: This is what happens when some portuguese bloggers get together to eat ice-cream, cupcakes and drink coffee. Sadly the rain decided to make an appearance and the clock decided to run pretty fast but I can definitly say I have a lovely time. I didn't talk with everybody but that is what you get when you have social anxiety. Maybe some other time, I can't wait to spend another afternoon like this!

Português: É isto o que acontece quando um pequeno grupo bloggers se encontra durante uma tarde para comer gelados, cupcakes e beber café. Porém, a chuva decidiu fazer uma visita e o relógio não abrandou nem um segundo mas posso certamente dizer que passei um tempinho adorável com muitas destas caras que só conhecia da blogosfera. Infelizmente, não falei com toda a gente nem tanto quanto desejaria mas é isso o que acontece quando se tem fobia social, ai ai. Talvez noutra altura pois mal posso esperar por passar mais uma tardezinha assim!
