A Romwe Wishlist

romwewishlist

One of the things I like the most about the online store Romwe is the variety of clothes and styles it has to offer. There you can find edgy clothes and also vintage inspired ones. As you probably know, the vintage inpired stuff is what I really like so I decided to show you some clothes from Romwe that I would just LOVE to have in my closet. Yes, a lot of colars indeed. I just can't get enought of it!
Anyway, don't you just love these pretty clothes? I do!

Today was a typical autumn day. No rain, just wind and brown leaves on the floor. One of the things I like the most is to step on leaves that fall from the trees during autumn. It's such a great sensation!

Now a little change of subject! I have that polka dotted coat for two years now and I only wore it twice since I bought it. It's a bit strange because I really like it. I guess that from now on I'm going to wear it more often. It's so cosy and adorable! Oh, and the same thing about the shoes. I even put them for sale a few months ago but ended keeping them. I guess I'm rediscovering my closet and that feels great. It's like having new stuff without spending money!

Now that the real Autumn arrived with the rain, the small days and the cold wind, it's a bit complicated to take outside pictures because everytime I leave my uni it's already too dark and lightless. So, I decided to try to take some inside pictures and I really liked the result. Now you know how my Coimbra's bedroom look like, pretty white and simple.

I'm really happy that Autumn decided (finally!) to show up! I just adore the smell of rain, the grey clouds, the sound of rain outside when I'm cosy in my bed (even though I hate it when I need to get up to go to classes). And don't you find the word Autumn one of the most beautiful words in the world? I do!

Blue Velvet In Pictures

Since I'm such a huge cinema fan I decided that from now on I'm going to start posting some pictures of my favorite films monthly. I tought that starting with "Blue Velvet" was the best choice because the rain outside (yes, it's finally rainning) makes me want to watch all David Lynch's films and I always categorized "Blue Velvet" as a rainy day film. If you never watched it, well, change that! It's amazing!

I have this skirt for a a couple of months now and this is only the second time I wear it. I love how midi-skirts look on other people but I'm not sure if I like it on me. Don't ask, I can't explain. But today, when I woke up and looked at it I just felt like it was a great day to wear a midi-skirt and heels. Now let me tell you a secret! I can't wear heels for a long time, my feet can't take it (I always walk to get to the places I want). Yes, they look pretty but yes, they also hurt a little bit after wearing them for more than 5 hours! Am I the only one feeling that about heels?

Oh, and can you see those bracelets that I wear all the time? They're all from music festivals and I've been collecting them since 2007. I hate how they look in my outfits but it just seems that I can't get rid of them because they have a kind of emotional importance or something, I don't know. It's a bit stupid, I must admit ahah.

Another Zara Wishlist

It's not that I'm super crazy about Zara's new collection but there are a few pieces that I wouldn't mind to have

I know it's really hot outside and I should probably not wear black tights but when I looked at them I couldn't resist. Black tights are probably my favorite piece of clothing. Black tights and black dresses. You can have a thousand of outfits just with those two pieces.

Also I finally had a haircut, yey! Same cut but a bit shorter. Goodbye ponytails and litte bows holding it!

The title of this post comes from a song of a spanish band called Bigott. I saw them live yesterday day here in Coimbra and it was pretty amazing. You should listen to them if you like things like Bon Iver and indie folk.
They're saturday to Lisbon and if you're in the area you should go see them, you will not regret, trust me!

Autumn Outfit Inspiration

Autumn already arrived but if feels more like Summer. In fact, the weather is hotter than it was during the
actual Summer. While I keep waiting for cooler mornings and the feeling of having my hair pulled by the wind I create outfits that I'd like to wear during Autumn (if it is even coming).

Style Icon: Sylvie Vartan

sylvie vartan #14

As the 60s lover that I am, Sylvie Vartan is one of my favorites style icons and I tought it could be a good idea to share such inspiring lady with you.

Sylvie was a french yé-yé singer born in Bulgaria and she had the prettiest face and the prettiest clothes. Also, her songs are still great and you should probably listen to her if you like lovely old pop songs. She was a diva at the time and she even performed with The Beatles.

Please, Please Me (A Outfit Video Post)

Beatles Tee
(Beatles T-Shirt - Primark (belongs to my boyfriend); Skirt - Zara; Loafers - Blanco; Bag - Primark)

With my schedule full because of my classes I came to the state where I only have the opportunity to take pictures in the back of my house, oh well.
I wanted to do a new video for a long time since I made the last one about six months ago (click here). I always adore when other bloggers upload their outfits in video mode. It always give a different sensation and everything looks more real. I'm always like "Oh they really exist! They're not just pictures!" Silly me ahah.

The song I used was from "Cults", a band I'm in love with lately - you should listen to them if you like pretty girls with pretty voices singing pretty songs! I tought I should use a Beatles one but then I came to the conclusion that doing that would be too predictable. They're still amazing though.
