You're a Wizard, Harry!

Hello everyone!

Today was another summer day here in Coimbra! I slept late and didn't do much. I decided to take this day to rest a bit because all of this exams I'm doing are killing me. Tomorrow is going to be another day full of studying. I really need summer holidays right now. All I keep thinking is how much I wanna go to a music festival.

Since today was such a hot day I wore for the first time this fresh second hand blouse I bought a while ago and I loved it. It made me feel like a 50s young lady.

Ahh, I'm so crazy about ribbons! Since I saw 500 Days of Summer almost two years ago I fell in love with Zooey's Deschanel ribbons (here) and i've been wearing them since that day.

Oh, and I decided to re-read (again) all Harry Potter books! Big fan here! I just started reading "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone" and it's crazy when I think about how many years I've been crazy about those books and movies. More than 10 years is a long time!

Good Vibrations

I guess I can finally say that summer really arrived! Yesterday was probably the hottest day of the year and I tought I was going to melt when I had to carry my suitcase from the bus stop to my house (well, I guess is time for me to take the car license I've been avoiding).
I wanted to wear something fresh and when I found this dress that I don't wear since 2008 or so I tought it was the perfect choice. I love to re-discover my closet and I totally had forgotten that this dress existed.

Also, what do you think of my yellow nails? It is really strange for me to have my nails in such colour but I was looking through my sister's huge nail polishes collection and I found this one and I just had to try it.

Bigmouth Strikes Again

Another weekend just arrived and I could be outside enjoying the sun and I could go to the beach (not that I'm a beach kind of girl but I'd love to go there and sit by the sea reading a book) but no, I have to study. Monday I have my first exam and I really need to study. It's a Music, Art and Multimedia exam, which I find pretty interesting. I also have a lot of Graphic Design work to do until tuesday and I have to do my graphic diary. Yes, a diary is supposed to be something that you work on daily but I'm pretty lazy and I started doing that yesterday.

So, goodbye lazy weekend!

As you can see this is not the most pretty place to take photos but I was waiting for the bus and that's the only free time I had. Look, more than those cars you can see the police station, how lovely. Also, I'm sorry for such bad quality and full of grain photos but that's what we have to deal with until I get my other camera back.

By the way, have you watched the Orla Kiely AW11 promo video? I watched it yesterday. I really liked it. I found it a bit "surrealistic"(?) and weird in a great way.

Why Don't You Let Me Stay Here?

Finally I have a camera. Not my beloved one but this old camera that I have for ages.I found it in my home lost in a drawer and yey, pictures for you all!

This past days I've been so busy that I can't even read and comment your blogs but the truth is that I'm doing something that I love: I'm collaborating with the Theater course of my university and I'm the video technician of their play "Tomai Lá Do O'Neill". It's great to do something like this and to work with real professionals. But I can't wait to go to every single one of your blog, I miss reading the things you all write and I miss your lovely pictures and outfits. I do need some inspiration!

And what do you think about my new satchel? I bought it in a online second hand store and it's my new love. I find the colour really lovely and the shape is great. The only bad thing is that my laptop doesn't fit on it. But I still wear it everyday since I got it.

And what about my Topshop tunic? It's my first Topshop piece of clothing and I adore it. It's a bit see through but nothing I can't solve.

Oh, and tomorrow I'm going to a Medieval Fair that is happening here in Coimbra. It's the first time that I'm going to a fair like that and I find it super exciting.

Pierrot Le Fou In Pictures

Probably you don't know but the film Pierrot Le Fou by Jean-Luc Godard is my all time favorite film. Cinema is one of the things that inspire me the most, I love to be inspired by new different stories and peculiar characters. Marianne Renoir (played by Anna Karina) is one of those characters that really inspire the way I look at life and the way that I put my clothes together in the morning.

Pierrot Le Fou is a 60s movie full of color and is truly important in the history of french nouvelle vague and cinema in general.

Probably, if you never saw any Jean-Luc Godard's movie you'll find this weird, nonsense and you'll give up after a few minutes of watching it, but I still recommend it to you. Trust me when I say that this is pure genious and I'm sure you'll love everything Marianne wears.
