All My Heart Is Yours, Sir

This pretty sweater from Oasap just arrived and I just had to show it to you. It is better than I tought it would be! The collar is made in a really great quality, which made me love it even more.
My mom said it reminded her the sweaters she used to wear in the late 70s when she was a teenager!
I can't wait to show you an outfit wearing it with some high waisted shorts and some pretty flats.

Oh, and this is the vintage Jane Eyre copy I bought myself on my birthday. It is a copy from the 80s and I already read half of it. It's such a beautiful and magical history!

It's My Party And I Cry If I Want To

I am now a 22 year-old young lady! Can you believe that? It feels like it was yesterday I turned 19 and now I'm 22.
It was a lovely day, I spent it with my boyfriend. We went to eat a Kebab, take a walk around the town and then we went to a lovely antique store where I found a vintage Jane Eyre book (that I've been searching for a really really time). Now I am also with my friends Ivo and Paulinha that came to meet me here in Coimbra. We are watching some music videos from the 70s.
This is what I call a lovely way to spend the day of my birthday!

And of course, the famous Lesley Gore song for the title of this post! A big cliché, I know but I love it!

Alexa Chung and Vero Moda

As you may already know the pretty and stylish Alexa Chung is the face of the spring/summer Vero Moda collection.
The truth is that I love the collection and the photos (oh, and the video)
so much that I just had to share it with you.
I wanted to do it sooner but for some reason I forgot it (that's why I should start doing a blog schedule).
All the clothes are indeed very Alexa Chungish and if you like her daily style
I'm sure you'll like the collection as well.

Sessùn: Spring/Summer '12

Bold colors, funny mixed patterns, girly shapes and pretty details.
The new Sessùn collection couldn't be any more perfect, that's for sure! It makes me want to travel to Paris and spend the days eating macarons, sitting by the Seine river reading a book, ridind on a bike around the city, see the artists paint on the streets of Montmatre.
Isn't it amazing when a piece of clothing makes you feel all of that?

Lemon Trees

Today was a spring day in January!
The air smelt like cherry blossoms, the sun was warm and cosy, the flowers were smiling and the birds were dancing. I forgot that we still have couple of months until spring days arrive and I forgot the rain that is yet to come. I just wanted to do a picnic by the Mondego river and lay in the grass!

Sadly the day was spent in the coffee trying to study to my Acoustic exam that I'll have this week. This week is also the week of my birthday. It scares me a bit, I don't like birthdays that much and 22 seems like a serious age!

Blogger's Dinner

January 21st was the day of the blogger's dinner at Porto. We got together at this really beautiful restaurant named Pimms. It was all white and the food was really really delicious!
It was a great choice indeed.
I had the pleasure to meet some of the nice girls that are behind some of the loveliest portuguese blogs. The only bad thing is that I forgot the memory card of my camera at home, yes, this is a true story! What kind of blogger am I?
Luckily not everybody is like me so I already had the chance to steal some of the dinner photos from some more responsible bloggers (sources at the end).

We also got some great gifts from The Body Shop and Zilian. A bit thank you for that! And a big thank for the girls behind Oh, You Pretty Things and Confessions Of A Shopaholic for organizing this.

Tendre et cruel. Réel et surréel.

Today I wore one of my favorite color combinations, the good old red, black and white that can never go wrong. I went through a phase where I only used to wear those three colors (oh, the 16s!) and I got a little tired of it for a while. Nothing that a year of only wearing bright colors (aka new rave) couldn't solve. Today I'm a grown up young lady capable of wearing any color. Ok, not anycolor! That neon trend? I hate it! Not even in my bright color phase I was capable of wearing it.

But enought talking about colors!
I can't wait to enjoy some vacations (again). All these college exams are killing me, I can't wait for them to end. Specially programming. It makes me want to join the circus and forget about the world.

What I Like From Oasap

Oasap is an online store where you can find a lot of different styles, from edgy to vintage inspired to casual! It's pretty affordable and it has free shipping. Really cool don't you think?
These are some of my choices! And you? Do you like Oasap? What's your favorite piece of clothing from the store?

I Will Never Love You More Than Woody Allen Movies

When I arrived home after my Oral and Written Communication in Portuguese Language exam I realized that it was still sun outside. A warm and lovely sun. The first thing I did was grab my camera and snap these photos. Now that I discovered a way to take my own photos it's much easier to keep on updating the blog with some of my outfits.
Of course that all the neighbours kept on looking at me wondering what I was doing and maybe thinking "I bet she is taking pictures to put on her Facebook" but that's ok, I can live with that.

Today was the third time I wore my pretty scalloped blouse and I feel like I always wear it in the same way. Burgundy tights and a skirt. I'm needing some inspiration. Maybe I should get myself some pants, I don't know. I love skirts and dresses too much!

Orla Kiely Pre-Spring/Summer 2012

It is no big new when I say that I love everything about Orla Kiely's collections. In fact, Orla Kiely is for sure
one of my favorites fashion designers and brands ever. Too bad my budget is too little, I can't wait to
have the opportunity to buy one of it's dresses, I'm sure every single euro is going to be worth it.

Once again, the new lookbook really shows how amazing Orla Kiely's designs are. I'm loving winter but this collection makes me want spring to arrive as soon as possible.
The dresses and shapes couldn't be any lovelier!
This are some of my favorite looks:

Au Revoir Simone

Today was such a lovely day outside that I had to wear my new floral dress (bought on sales).
This dress looks like something the girls from Au Revoir Simone would wear and I guess that's the reason why I like it so much. I have this thing that I always associate my clothes to some band or movie. In fact, when I don't know what to wear I think about the film or the band that I feel in the mood of watching/listening and I inspire my outfit on that. It's really helpful!
Today I inspired my outfit on Au Revoir Simone and on girls that play on indie bands.

(This photo is a bit blurry but I kind of like it like that.)

Dorothy Addams

Today I decided to take my brand new red shoes (I bought them yesterday) for a walk around Coimbra. They are my Dorothy shoes (I know they don't look like the ones Dorothy used but that's ok)! I've been wanting a pair of red shoes like these ones for a really long time and finally I found them on sales!
Also, I wore my beloved Wednesday Addams dress (it's not black but that's ok too) from Romwe! It's a bit short but I really like the shape! It is one of my favorite dresses I own!
So, that's the reason why the title of today's post is "Dorothy Addams". I feel like mix between those two ladies with a touch of my personal style, yey!
