All That She Wants

English: Tomorrow is the day summer arrives and I'm still wearing black tights and cardigans. It's really strange to think that when I was younger, by this time, I was already wearing shorts, sandals and tank tops and spending time playing in the street, riding my bike and playing hide and seek. It feels like the time is escaping through my fingers and it looks like the days go by in hours, not seconds. Is that the way things happen? When we get older the clock gets faster?
Yesterday, when I was looking for things that symbolized the 90s, I couldn't help but smile at all that I found and at the memories that were coming to me. I was a Spice Girls and Britney Spears fan, I was jealous of my sister's tank tops from Guess and her platforms, I wore braids all over my head, colorful elastics and a pair in each color of converse all-stars. It's funny to see how things change!

Português: Amanhã entra o Verão e eu ainda ando de collants pretos e casacos. É realmente estranho pensar que quando era mais nova, por esta altura, já andava de calções, sandálias e tops e passava o tempo a brincar na rua, a andar de bicicleta e a jogar às escondidas. O tempo parece que me anda a escapar por entre os dedos e parece que os dias passam em horas e não em segundos. É assim que as coisas acontecem? Quando envelhecemos o relógio acelera?

Ontem, enquanto procurava por símbolos que simbolizam os anos 90, dei por mim a rir daquilo o que fui encontrando e das lembranças que foram chegando até mim. Eu era fã das Spice Girls e da Britney Spears, tinha inveja dos tops curtos da Guess e das plataformas da minha irmã, usava trancinhas pelo cabelo todo presas com elásticos coloridos e tinha um par de converse all-stars de cada cor. É engraçado ver como as coisas mudam!
