Português: Não se admirem com a manga curta em pleno mês de Novembro, os dias por aqui têm estado quentes e solarengos, só hoje o frio e a chuva decidiram voltar a fazer uma surpresa e os casacos quentes voltaram a sair à rua.

Lembram-se de eu ter dito que tinha de evitar comprar na Primark e procurar peças de melhor qualidade? Bem, parece que as coisas estão destinadas a serem mais difíceis do que julgava. Esta semana abriu a Primark aqui em Santiago de Compostela e não consegui resistir a dar lá um saltinho. Felizmente, acabei por comprar apenas um cinto. Admito que estou mais do que feliz com os meus novos hábitos no que diz respeito a comprar roupa, isto de ter vindo de Erasmus acabou por se tornar uma grande ajuda visto que tenho de organizar muito melhor o meu espaço e, acima de tudo, o meu dinheiro! Infelizmente, isto tudo está prestes a acabar e vou estar de volta a Portugal num piscar de olhos. É incrível como o tempo passa rápido sem termos noção disso!

Anyway, do you remember when I said I wanted to avoid Primark and search for better quality pieces? Well, it looks like that is going to be a little more difficult than I thought. This week, Primark opened here in Santiago de Compostela and I couldn't resist to give it a look. Fortunately, I ended buying only a belt. I must say I'm pretty happy with my new buying habits. Being an Eramus student was definitely a great help since now I feel obligated to organize the tiny space I have and, of course, to manage the money more wisely! Sadly, this is almost coming to an end and I'll be back to Portugal at a glance. It's amazing how fast the time goes by!

Kling: A Winter Wishlist

Português: Não é novidade nenhuma que eu adoro as roupas da Kling! As peças são sempre bonitas, originais, com uma qualidade incrível e, melhor ainda, com preços super acessíveis para o tipo de coisas que vendem. A colecção de Inverno deste ano saltou-me especialmente à vista pelos pequenos detalhes que fazem toda a diferenças e pelas cores quentes e perfeitas para os dias mais frios. Para melhorar ainda mais esta colecção, algumas das inspirações para esta colecção foram a Audrey Horne da série Twin Peaks e a Nana, representada pela Anna Karina no filme Vivre Sa Vie. Claro que também não nos podemos esquecer do filme Sound of Music e da musa dos anos 20, Louise Brooks! Com tudo isto, a Kling vai crescendo cada vez mais dentro mim e a certeza de querer encher o meu armário com todas as suas peças é cada vez maior.

English: We all know my love for Kling isn't new! The pieces are always gorgeous, unique, made with great quality and better yet, with really affordable prices for the kind of things they sell. This year's winter collection catched my attention especially because of the small details that make all the difference and because of the warm colors perfect for the cold days that are already here. To make this collection even better, some of the inspirations were Audrey Horne from the series Twin Peaks and Nana, represented by Anna Karina in the 60s movie Vivre Sa Vie. Of course, we can't forget the movie Sound of Music nor the 20s muse, Louise Brooks! With all of these great things, Kling is growing on me a little more each day and I'm pretty sure I'm ready to fill my closet with their clothes.

New In My Closet

Português: Eu sei que disse que gostaria de passar a comprar roupa de melhor qualidade mas a verdade é que recentemente numa ida à Primark não consegui resistir a estas duas belezas. Ambas ficaram por menos de 20€ e ambas são coisas que faltavam no meu armário. Quanto à camisinha, adoro a gola e o padrão e como ando seriamente a pensar em investir em mais peças separadas e menos em vestidos para que possa fazer mais combinações, acho que foi uma compra bastante bem pensada. Quanto ao sapatos a história é outra! Sim, também me andavam a faltar uns sapatinhos pretos mas acho que devia ter investido em algo de melhor qualidade. Só os usei duas vezes e sinto que não vão durar muito por aí além! Num lado bom dessa ida à Primark, consegui resistir a umas quantas peças em saldo que normalmente compraria. Experimentei e pensei seriamente se seriam peças que eu ia gostar de ter a longo prazo, se eram peças que faziam mesmo falta e se tinha como as combinar, para além de tudo, também tive em conta a qualidade dos materiais e se gostava mesmo da forma como assentavam no meu corpo. Resumidademente, posso dizer que teve mais pontos positivos do que negativos e que com o tempo vou conseguir dominar a minhas compras com muita mais sabedoria.

English: I know I said I wanted to start buying more quality clothing but the truth is that recently I went to Primark and I couldn't resist these two beauties. Both were less than 20€ and both are pieces that were missing in my wardrobe. About the blouse, well, I love the collar and the pattern and since I'm thinking about start buying more seperate pieces and less dresses so I can make more combinations, I think this was a well tought buy. Now when it comes to the shoes the story is a bit different! Yes, I was also missing some black little shoes but I think I should have bought something with more quality. I only wore them twice and I feel that they wont last that much! In a good way of this visit to Primark, I was able to resist some sale pieces that I would normaly buy. I tried them and I asked myself if those were pieces that I would like to wore for more than a couple of times, if I was really missing those pieces and if I had other pieces to wear with them. I also checked the quality and if really loved how they looked on me. In the end, I could say that going to Primark had more positive points than negative and that with some time I'm sure my buys will be a lot better. Yey!
