New Look Wishlist

A few days ago I had a dinner with some friends of mine and I was talking about fashion with a girl I met there. She said she bought a beautiful pair of platform boots from New Look and that I should buy stuff from there because the quality is pretty good, the prices are low and they deliver really fast. And unlike Topshop they sell to Portugal wich is perfect! So, I decided to do a New Look's wishlist. The problem is that I already want so many things and I don't how I'll be able to buy all that I want ahah.

The black velvet dress! I want to buy lots of velvet clothes this fall and winter and the simple black dress is perfect to wear with some tights and low boots. I definitely have to own a dress like this.

I don't know for how long I want this shoes but I can say that is much more than a year. The problem is that I can't find them anywhere in Portugal. They're the perfect shoes and I'll do whatever it takes to buy them.

I really liked this skirt. I can't really say why but I think this is really pretty and looks a lot like me, if you know what I mean ahah. I like the colour and those two stripes and the bows make the skirt even more adorable.

This militar blazer is very classy and that's one of the things I want the most in my wardrobe. Classy clothes. The shape is lovely and that horse pin and those golden buttons give a lot of personality to the jacket.

I really want a necklace with a clock and this one looks pretty good. I love those accessories and it is perfect to wear it a simple outfit. A perfect way to turn a piece of clothing more interesting.

First the black velvet dress and now the black velvet skirt. As I said before I really want lots of velvet clothes and the velvet skirt is a must have for me. Beautiful to wear with a petter pan collar shirt and oxfords.

At last I need to present you my new obssession! I want so much a pair of shoes with that fringe and this ones are perfect in every single way. The colour, the shape! They're adorable and perfect to wear this fall. And since I have too many black clothes this shoes are a great way to contrast with what I wear.

And that's it.

Oh, a little note. Many of you told me that I should start posting what I wear so I'll try to do that this week. The problem is that I want to do good pictures and not average ones inside my house. So, I'll see what can I do.

Lazy days are over!

I know I've been pretty lazy at posting and that when I post those posts are not that exciting but lately I don't fell that inspired and I'm felling very nervous because of university results. But I swear I'll try to manage some time to dedicate myself to this blog and to take some outfit pictures and post different kinds of stuff.

So, I'd be very pleased if you could give me any suggestions about what you want to see in this blog. I'm open to all of your opinions and I would love to have a blog that you could really enjoy visiting. :)

Weekly Lookbook Choices

1 - Renata Cechinel, 20

The skirt and the blouse is what I like the most about this outfit. But what makes this perfect is the colours choice. I'm in love with brownish, beige and camel and how vintage it looks. Very simple and elegant.

2 - Riikka A, 24

All of this girl outfits are gorgeours. She has a really adorable sense of style and she really looks like Maggie Gyllenhaal ahah. But what I like the most about this outfit is the collar with pearls. Classic, vintage and wonderfully accessorised!

3 - Laia N, 19

Lately I've been obssessed with this kind of looks. Vintage, elegant, simple, pale. Her hat makes this outfit adorable and I adore that blouse, the collar and how it shows the bra in the back. She reminds me a lot of Zooey Deschanel. Lovely.

I want that dress right now! Seriously! I love everything about this outfit. Black tights, shoes, dress, hat and beige trench coat to cut all of that darkness. She looks adorable and really simple. Simple looks can't go wrong when you use something to spice it a little bit.

Do you know what love is? Well, thats what I fell about this. All I can think about is perfection. If I had those exact same clothes I would wear it every single day, really. I love that topshop coat with all of my heart (I'm going to buy the Zara one that looks almost the same) and how she puts it together with those shorts and blouse. Lately I've been thinking of dying my hair again and I must say I really like this colour.

Style Icon: Jane Birkin

In the last post I talked about the "Birkin Bag" so I tought I should do a "Get inspired" post about Jane Birkin.

If you like the 70s style this girl can be your major inspiration. English actress and singer she is mostly known for her very passioned relationship with Serge Gainsbourg and her duet with him. I'm sure you know the song "Je t'aime... moi non plus".

Her long hair and big eyes made her one of the most beautiful girls ever.

Is that a birkin bag?

This is the famous Birkin Bag by Hermes. The bag that every girl should dream about but sadly not all of us can afford it. You know Hermes. This bag is named after Jane Birkin, famous actress and singer know for her duet with Serge Gainsbourg. This is a very exclusive bag and produced in limited quantities. Well, a dream bag.

But, not everything is lost! I was looking through Blanco's website and I saw this bag:

Yes, this looks just like the same and you can buy it for €29,90! Can you believe it? I'm sure the quality isn't that good (like every Blanco's piece) but it can make us a little bit happier!

Zara Wishlist

I was looking through Zara's Online Store (I need to say that I love that Zara started selling online) and I came to the conclusion that I really need to change my wardrobe! The new collection is everything I love and more. I'm going to save some money so I can buy all those beautiful pieces. Everytime I think about my clothes I feel so bored, gotta go into the new collection, yey!

The famous mocassins! Love how classy and shinny they look. Definetly a great shoe to wear during the end of summer till the end of fall. I really can see myself wearing it with some skinny jeans and a peter pan collar shirt.

I love the lace of that shirt and those buttons on the back. Very simple and looks super cosy! Great to go to class in the morning!

I'm tired of wearing tiny skirts, I need something more grown up and classy and this skirt seems to be a great choice. I adore how it fits and how elegant it looks. Want want want.

Peter pan collar cardigans, peter pan collar shirts, peter pan collar dresses. That's what I want this season. It's adorable. I want to spend a lot in this kind of clothing.

Classy pants! Yes! The last season I saw a few on Zara in pastel colours, I tried one pair but there was something about it that I didn't like. Finaly I guess I found the perfect ones and look how much adorable they look with the mocassins.

Do you remember Topshop's navy coat? Well, this is almost the same but the best is that I can buy it cause they're selling it in Portugal ahah. (That's what I hate about Topshop). Ok, I'm tired of navy stuff but this one reminds of Sailor Moon and japanese college girls. This even reminds of the film "Suicide Club" and it makes it more than a navy coat.

This jeggings are so rockabilly and pin-up"ish"! Very mod and I love mod culture. This even reminds of Debbie Harris, no one can't love Debbie Harry. And once again those mocassins looks great.

I've been a little obssessed with black lately but I think I need to change my mind about it. There are some many clothes with interesting colours and this one is a part of the list. This blouse is gorgeous! It looks very vintage and from the 40s (I need to say that I love the 40s, a few months ago I bought a history 40s book and it made me love it even more). Oh, and look! The peter pan collar ir there!

The little black dress! It's very simple and it can't go wrong! Perfect to wear with over the knee socks. The cut is very Twiggy I need to say!

Look, the glasses!

Tomorrow I'm having a new pair of glasses because the doctor said I have to use a little less my contact lens. So, since I have my glasses since I was 17 I decided I need a new pair. At first I tought of buying the classy ones, from Dolce and Gabbana but then I decided to buy a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarer. I was pretty afraid of such choice because the glasses are really heavy (I'm afraid they're gonna eat my face ahah) and everybody wears it now even if they don't need glasses to see. Well, to chill myself up a little bit I decided to tought about someone that wears the same glasses and that looks good on it. At first I tought of Woody Allen (one of my favorite film directors, that man is a genious) but then I had a better idea called PANDORA (click here).

I'm pretty sure you know who is she. She's one of the most famous fashion bloggers. All of her outfits are very well tought and her colour choices makes the difference. She's very influenced by art, wich I adore about her and I die everytime I look at the way she puts her makeup. More than that she's from France - dream country, I can't wait to live in Paris someday - and she owns the same glasses that I am going to use.

This is the prove that pretty girls can still wear glasses and look adorable! Even tought I'm sure I'm going to look a lot more ridiculous with those I'm still gonna think of her and that's gonna help me to get used to it.

I swear I'm going to take a lot of pictures with them. This Friday I'm going on a 3 days road trip with my best friends and that's gonna be the perfect ocasion.
